Please consider wise counseling. I've been divorced and am in my second marriage of which I thought I was going to divorce again. I'm so thankful we sought counseling from Dana and Michael Cole. They changed my life and I am now very happy.
I've never known happiness in my life. When you are going through the emotional roller coaster of problems and are at the point where you believe you can't go on in your life, that's when you have to be wise and listen to wise counsel, not your emotions. Your emotions will lead you down a path you don't want to go on.
One thing I've learned in this life is everyone has issues and problems within themselves and no one is perfect. If we were, we wouldn't need our Savior, Jesus Christ. We are coming up on three years of marriage now and we are truly very happy in our lives. Kathy and I wanted to take the time and drop you a line on how your Life Coaching skills has helped us through some tough times with my teenage daughter Danielle.
The solid Life Coaching you teach and counsel on have helped us tremendously. Specifically, the principle of God first, the needs of your spouse second, and then the needs of your children follow. As we have discussed many times, this principle is critical for a second marriage success (blended families from divorce) and very tough to consistently live by.
Being a parent of a teenager is difficult enough with couples who don't divorce, add a step-mom or step-dad to this mix and the troubles can double. I now realize as a husband and father, my wife Kathy comes before my daughter Danielle and my spouse is put before all other children.

When I first met with you, Dana, I was only a shadow of myself. I was so sad, exhausted, overwhelmed, and confused. You had so much confidence and joy in the Lord. I loved the way you prayed with me, and for me, and seemed to know exactly what I needed to hear.

Yet, we all know that's not where the story ends. You continued to walk with me, and pray for me --daily!! This completely amazed and blessed me. With my husband in a deep depression, and several children to care for, I was so grateful to you for your Godly counsel and deep compassion.
You encouraged me to continually seek the Lord, love my husband, and also care for myself. You helped me to search my own heart, for the things Ineeded to see, deal with and grow through.
